I have just taken delivery of a new E 250 CDI estate with the automatic gearbox. This is my first Mercedes with an auto so it is all rather new to me. However I get a rather loud clunk when transferring from drive to park. The dealer says this is normal but I don't recall it being as bad when I tested an automatic (admittedly it was matched to a V6 rather than a four cylinder).

I also have extremely rasping windscreen wipers. On the downward swipe when it drizzles. Any comments or solutions would be much appreciated.
