Anyone notice the ML350 downshifting into 1st or 2nd is very clunky?
Has anyone addressed this problem with the service folks at Mercedes?

 

I have had the same issue.. I have taken it to Mercedes Benz of Miami and they told me the 1st time it was nothing... i took it again and told them i wouldnt drive it until it was fixed so they gave me a rental and a week later they had swapped the transmission out and now it downshifts fine...

 

it's the transfer case and has been discussed here before.
