Hey guys i notice there have been alot of posts regarding this subject in the past.

But im still really confused as to what to believe or not ! i have a C220 Automatic (w203) 02 plate.

Recently the drive shaft was damaged but then i got it repaired a week after my gear stick keeps getting stuck when i move it for 'D' to 'R'.

So i have to switch off my engine and put it into 'P' and then start my car again. Also my car is not changing gears at all it seem to be only in the first gear as my car revs 4/5000 when im only doing 20/30 mph !

when i leave my car switched off for a while and start it again my car drives normal till after 5/10 minutes where the car goes into the first gear and the gear stick gets stuck.

Do you guys think my Gearbox is broken or do i have faulty electrics ?
