Just bought my first Mercedes, a 1997 C180. I live in Australia and am enjoying the experience of a smooth ride. Speed and performance are not important to me and the 1.8L is great on fuel ecomony. This is a great forum by the way. I have visited a few and this is by far my favourite. Hope to stick around and chat to you guys and gals over the coming months. Cheers all.

Thanks. Don't know about mileage yet as I haven't let the tank get too low. The previous owner said he got about 600km per tank. What's the tank size, about 60L? makes it 10L per 100km which seems a bit too heavy. I'll have to check to make sure.
