Hello All

I drive a MB C240 which I have owned for 4 years now. I am her first owner. I am up on my 4 years free maintenance and the dealer is going to charge me $1200 for Service A. I live in San jose. Can someone tell me a nice place to get my car serviced without the "stealership" fees ?

$1200 for an A Service, how can those people sleep at night, but then again, it is California. I had my B Service done at a local NAPA garage. They are authorized by all manufactuers to do warranty maintenance services, cost for the B $237.86, which included changing the brake fluid, and anti freeze. MB charges $440 to $475 according to the dealer and these prices don't include brake fluid change or antifreeze. NAPA also gives you a form with all the B service items and they check them off.

 

Holy Crap! Thats a lot of dough. 'round here A's cost about 200 bucks. Take a drive accross county, get the service done, have a nice visit, and still save money! Sounds win-win to me!
