Just wanted to say hi for now. I just picked up my latest resurrection project. She's a 74 450 slc. Bought it from a local police dept after they siezed it in a drug bust! It runs pretty good but has some issues like high idle(vacuum leaks?), a bad battery, and runs really rich. It's blowing black smoke from the exhaust. Overall, a nice project car. Car was yellow but cops painted it black and white and used it in their DARE program- the kid's anti-drug program. Used it in parades and stuff. Anyway I got it for 500 bucks!! The car drives nice, a/c is cold, everything works. Just needs a little TLC. I'll be back for advise on the fixes for the problems she has. I love this car!!!!
