ABS light staying on

Cool ABS light staying on

Hi all, new to site, 1988 300D, ABS light problem I have changed pads but light comes on within a minute or two occasionally the brakes feel like they are grinding or sticking anyone got any suggestions ?
Any help appreciated.

hey, this happened to my 2001 BMW x5 alot and it was actually because the aldenader needed to be replaced, they said it was the cars way in saying that something was wrong so by your light always coming on there might be another problem that your not aware of. hope this helps

it sounds like you have a abs sensor problem or a abs ring problem. it show up after driving because thats when it senses there is something wrong. check you senors and rings for any damage and the ohms like previously posted. they should all ohm out the same if one is different that is the bad one

ok good cuz my light never goes on and my abs always goes on i thought it was broken there for a sec

Default ABS and ESP light on after changing rotors and brakes

Hey all,
I just changed the rotors and pads and sensor on my 2005 C230 Kompressor, all went well and brakes feel good but ABS light comes on now and again. Any suggestions?

In my '85 300SD, the ABS light is the first indication of low battery or alternator failure. However, I have also learned that it may indicate that a front hub has been mounted too loosely following brake work.
