'97 S500 Antenna Mast R&R
Hello, I just got my first MB last week. Showroom condition. Very proud to own it; saved nickles a long time (starving flight instructor.) I purchased a newAntenna Mastfrom my local MB Dealer but I'm having great difficulty removing the chrome retaining nut - just spins & spins. How far down do the threads go? Or, is the chrome retaining nut all there is? Removed the trunk interior panel on the drivers side with hopes there would be something to grab onto there. No such luck. Unless someone can enlighten me, I'm about to break out the Dremel cutting tool. Yikes! Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks, Larry.
