Hi My name is Roger and I am in Orange California, the city with apeal! First of all thank you so much for having your knowledge, I'm pretty good at basic automotive stuff, can tear down a carburated V 8, reassemble and fire it, breaks, R&R a diff, Trany, do a clutch. Electical/ I am an Amatur Radio Technician Class so I sometimes have to let the smoke out of the wires, but yeah. It's so much help when I get brand specific and down to the VIN # where you go "did you know..." and I'm standing there going "you mean where i WAS STUCK FOR 5 DAYS...".
We have a 1989 560 SEL engine family KMB 5.6 V6 FA 14. iT DOES NOT RUN.
My buddy is convinced it is the crank sensor, I dont hear the fuel pump and think its not getting fuel. Is there any electrical circuts I can verify with my Fluke multi meter?
can you verify the location of the crank position sensor and any special removal/install issues I should break right away?(kidding!) Thank you for your help from "the Dutchman in THE BLUE JEEP!"
