Default 51 plate clk200 kompressor clock spring

my indicator stalk has malfunctioned and needs to be replaced, i have followed various threads and removed air bag, steering wheel etc.
i am now stuck the clock spring does not have any removal screws and this needs to be taken off to get to the contol arm screws.
can anyone help me

First of all, do not turn the clock spring at all!!!!! Stick some tape or something on there, if you do turn it then you've probably wrecked it.

You might first have to remove a couple of electrical connectors depending on the model. There should be two cross head screws that you can see from the front of the clock spring??? Loosen these screws until they are almost all the way out, but dont take them out, they protect you from turning the clock spring. Then it should just carefully pull off.
