I have 39,000 miles on my amg, with the lava effect or mirror leaking. Tried getting in touch with Magna Donelley redirected to Magna mirrors holland mirror division then redirected to Sybesma's Electronics (1-800-456-4265) they will repair the mirror for $80. I also tried to get in contact with Mercedes Benz on there site, wrote them with a concern I had about the quality of the Donnelley mirror and someone should be responsible for the repair or replacement (with a quality mirror that will not fail within 39,000 miles) no matter how old the vehicle is, because it is a manufactures defect.No answer, that was 2 weeks ago.They did have the nerve to send me a form on HOW WAS OUR SERVICE. You can guess what my response was, no response of coarse.I have made a complaint on the NHTSA site, and I urge anyone else to do so for any issuue they have. If we don't all stick together nothing will ever be done. If anyone has any suggestions please respond. Thank you, a newbie.
