I found a 81 300D mercedes non-turbo thats been parked since 2009. in a garage/barn. it is in awesome condition inside and out. except needing tires that are dry rotted and a battery for sitting. also it only has 55,000 origional miles on it with all the papers, and the person is the origional owner who is selling it.it runs and drives good,just needs a good detailing job. my question is how much is something like that worth .they are asking $5,000 for it but all the reserch I did shows it only worth around $3,500. just wondering if thats to much for what there asking for the car. hope to get some response . thanks

 

the millage is right. the lady is disabled and cant get around very good anymore. thanks for the info.
