Default Turbo Vs Non Turbo PLEASE HELP!

Hi everyone. Newbie here! Having thought that I made a great buy of a 1997 E300D auto Avantgarde (only done 60000 miles and buying for £5300) I now realise that it is not the turbo version. Having little knowledge of Mercs can someone please tell me the disadvantages. I will use the car to commute and it will cover approx 75 miles each day mostly motorway. How 'real' is the lack of power and is there a real dip in fuel consumption. I am very angry at myself for not noticing and have already paid a small deposit. Any advice would be greatly welcomed. Thanks.

You will notice in the accleration I have a 300sdl which is turbo and i wouldn't consider one without unless its really underpriced. But since u do alot of highway driving you should not be disapointed. I like driving back roads and need that short quick burst of power. I know s-class is not a back-road kind of car.

Thanks. Bought car yesterday and very very glad that I did. She drives like a dream - I now know what I have been missing all these years!
