Wheels and tyres
HiIam thinking of purchasing a new set of alloy wheels for my 2000 model SLK200 (R170).
Iam looking at a set of 18 Inch alloy wheels. The dimensions are as follows:
2 X 8.5 X 18" 5X112 ET35 ALLOY WHEELS
2 X 9.5 X 18" 5X112 ET35 ALLOY WHEELS
2 X 9.5 X 18" 5X112 ET35 ALLOY WHEELS
I have been advised to fit the following size tyres to the wheels: 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rears.
How would this set up look on the car, and would i get any rubbing at all.
Also, would it effect the speedo reading on my car.
