SLK Cutting out and stalling
HELP!
I have a SLK 230k 1998 and it has started cutting out while i am driving. The engine revs drop to tick over and the ASR light comes on. Also it has started stalling at traffic lights.
I have had a diag run on it at a dealership and they can not find anything wong with it. It is getting to the point where it is becoming dangerous because it cuts out on roundabouts and while over taking.
Can anyone help me please.

Larger soldered joints crack and go intermittant.
May be CPS as well.
