After leaving my 2004 slk 320 standing for a few months the battery went flat, I recharged it and eventually with enough charge it started. The problem is all the lights come are on on the dash even the power hood light. I have never had a problem with it before? any ideas?

 

are you sure the battery is good? a good battery is a must. low voltage can mess things up. did you disconnect the battery before charging? never charge a battery without disconnecting and it's not a good idea to jump start. I've learned the hard way and ruined some modules on my sl.

 

Thanks for the help, I changed the battery £98 and all is good. bloody cars!
