Hi Guys.

1998 SLK R170 - Auto.

Just had my oil, transmission fluid, spark plugs changed yesterday.
Then check engine came on right after.
Diagnosed with code P0805 Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction.

Tried clearing it. Didn't work. It came right back on as soon as car was re-started.

Car only has 46,000 miles.

Now my car is sitting at the shop. Any inputs?

So one would think, what, the clutch it bad, but I had an automatic. The clutch being referred to the s/c clutch. While I never experienced this personally, I would first lookup and see if there's a sensor somewhere by the s/c clutch mechanism and take it from there.
