Default SAT Radio (MB part)

I have just installed the SAT radio receiver and mounting bracket in the trunk. I thought it would be "plug and play" however when I select the soft key, "SAT" on the Command unit it responds with "No Satelite Radio".

My thought is that there is no fuse installed. I located the fuse boxnear the drivers door and the legend. The SAT radio fuse is indicated as number 17 and it says that the fuse box is located in the boot on the left side. I've looked high and low and can not locate the fuse box.

Please share your wisdom regarding the location of the fuse box or other possiblesolutions.

Default RE: SAT Radio (MB part)

Glenn, I would think there would be a fuse installed in #17. I have never looked for that box. Will take a look later and advise what I find. Also, perhaps something has to be "programed or activated" before the Sat. is operational?
