I'm planning a trip to Italy in my 320 slk and need some luggage space.Will the addition of a boot rack damage the operation of the roof? I presume I will need to remove any luggage before raising /lowering but can the rack stay in place, anyone had experience of touring with a rack fitted, is it safe at speed? Oh,and which way is Italy!?[/align]Thanks.[/align]

Drive to Port Melbourne, catch container ship to UK.

Drive to Tunnel, catch train, drive off in France. Italy is South East.
