Hello, Can you all give me some help on the method to remove and replace the remote mirror switch in my 1998 slk230 ? It looks easy enough but....

Remove 2 10mm nuts under carpet inside centre console.
Remove chrome trim around gear selector (pull up with finger nails)
Remove trim from around gear lever arae (lever up to rear between where chrome trim was)
Remove 2 small phillips screws.
Warm up handrake handle and slide off forwards (tight)
Carefully remove centre console
Switches held in with small screws underneath.
