Thats good news. Hope you will keep the SLK now?

An earlier poster suggested that relay? or was that on another one.

Default RE: IT MUST HAVE BEEN K40 RELAY

I have the exact same symptons as you on my 2004 but they (dealer) cannot diagnose the problems. engine dies at speed (randomly) and sometimes when i turn my key there is no starter but all lights and everything else are on the dash (oh i have no check engine light and they say nothing is stored on the ECU). Between 5 mins to an hour later and the car is fine and turns no problem.

Is there a K40 relay on my model year? if so i cant seem to find the part number...would this be the cause of both issues or just one..?

Any help is appreciated.
