Default LET'S MAKE A DEAL

I want to get an SLK and I have two people whose car I have seen...which would you chose?

1) 1999 SLK230/61,000miles body in great shape...was garaged for 8 months and didn't move, but runs well. No CD player...$15,000 firm (private seller)

2) 2001 SLK320/92,000miles body ok, has some cracks under the front. Has sport package, red interior, CD player, GPS, some fancy radar...$17,000 (private seller)

question: Which one would you prefer? I'll be doing a lot of city driving, stop go, stop go...and would also like to consider which one has a better percentage of resale value after 3-4 years...

Thanks for your input...

I am biased since I own one. Get the 320. The performance alone is worth the extra money. I drive mine every day and it is a great vehicle.

Do you want Auto or Manual?
Although I'm biased I'd go 320.
Little performance difference but the smoothness and matching to the autobox is hard to beat.
The 6 is also less stressed.
Key should be the service history.
