I know were the leak is coming from. There is a "wire housing" on the passanger side of the transmission just above the pan near the front of the transmission. Fluid is leaking around the outside of this wire housing. I talked to the MB dealer. They said this is a common problem on this transmission. Leaks more when it is cold. They can install a new and better housing for a mere $250.00. I want to fix this myself if possible. Doea anyone know what this housing is called? Does anyone know if this problem has a TSB written on it? If there is a TSB on it does anyone have a copy of it?
