Default INTERMITTENT STARTING PROBLEMS

any 1 else having this problem ?
turn the key = nothing
all dash lights etc. work - but no start up
try again and again - same result
call out recovery - it starts before they arrive ??????
also - (twice now)when driving engine cuts out ?
I HAVE HAD THE IGNITION SWITCH REPLACED - WE WILL SEE ????

starter/starter solenoid, starter cut-out relay, loose battery connection, etc.

camshaft position sensor/signal, crankshaft position sensor/signal, fuel system/supply/pressure/pump.

what did they say the fault code was?

Merc. dealer connected computer - but there were NO FAULTS ????

NOPE - NOT IGNITION SWITCH ?
NOT STARTED AGAIN TODAY - CALL OUT RECOVERY (AA)
CHECKED STARTER CIRCUIT - NO FEED !
POSS.ALARM FAULT ? - CAR SUDDENLY FIRED UP ????
WENT 500 YARDS - CUT OUT A ROAD JUCTION !!! - DANGEROUS ??
STARTED AGAIN AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS ?????
WHAT THE HELL IS IT ?

SLK is already using EIS and this is not one of the symptoms.

i didn't know that Alcoholic Anonymous (AA) is doing recovery jobs now.

let me study the starting circuit system/relay tomorrow. this is interesting case. what makes it more interesting was that there is no fault.

it is not the alarm system, it can't be. the authorization stays on memory till sleep mode. i'll check the service informations also.

really dangerous. make sure the insurance is still valid. more dangerous stopping on the expressway.

starter signal or circuit malfunction i think, but it stalls while the car is running!...right? the instrument cluster is fully functional which means the terminal 30 is fine.

we will get to that one, keep in touch.

Nice joke about AA (Automobile Association) In ENGLAND

thanks for taking an interest in my car problem ! the attachment u show lists
diesel ?? my slk 230 k is year 1998 petrol auto ?
what am I supposed to draw from it ?
I have booked it into Merc. dealer on Wed 17th (if it starts & I can get it there ? lol )
the sad fact is they will be charging me £90 ($160) an hour to try and find the fault ?

any help would be welcome !!!

111 is a gasoline engine.

not CPS.

starter can still work even if CPS is faulty.
