Default Hydraulic fluid in top motor/pump

Hello all,
I apologize for my long absence, my benz has been behaving! Well except the serpintine belt which needed some sort of aftermarket shock and my constantly peeling interior... anyway I digress....

Due to the failure of my top motor I brought it to localrepair shopthat said $1300 US, wherein my wallet gasped and I drove home unfixed. Well I found the top motor on eBay for 300 bucks. Was able to remove my old one, with some ease and need to put this new fellow in. However the new one was delivered sans fluid. I realize I need to loosen the clamp at the resevoir (sp?) to fill it. Is there any special fluid I should be using??? Don't want to fudge the whole thing by making an error. Any help is appreciated .... calling all Bazzles

There is a fill hole on the side of the pump. Mercedes has a special tool like a hypo to put in the fluid, but I imagine you could fill it with a squeeze ball of some type. Mercedes stocks the correct hydralic oil, I haven't heard of a substitute fluid.

There was an article here http://www.slkworld.com/general-disc...roof-pump.html that may help you with this.
