Default Garage Door Remote

Does anyone know if the garage door remote will operate the "Liftmaster" garage door openers? Mine doesn't seem to work.
Thank, EOLJR

I have the same brand and cannot get the remote to program. I might try MB.

Does your garage door opener have rolling codes?? If it does you have to press a button on the garage door opener to learn the code.

Garage door rolling code

1.On the inside above the rear-view mirror are 3 buttons,
#1, #2, and #3 (from left to right).

2.(This step will erase existing codes in #1, #2, and #3, so you only need to do this step once.) Hold down #1 and #3 simultaneously for around 20 seconds until light blinks.

3. Hold remote control 2-5 inches from chosen button. Let's say I choose #3.
Put something in the door beam to keep it open.
Press button on remote control AND #3 at the same time until rapid blink.

4. Go to Garage Door controlling box (mine was located in the middle of my garage on the ceiling with the garage light). Press the Learning Button and release.

5. Go back into car and press #3 and then release.
Then press #3 again and release.
Then press #3 again and release.
That's it!

6. *** DO NOT throw away garage door remote as you may need to do this again sometime in the future.

7. 2nd person is helpful.

8. You may have to try it a couple of times till you get it right.

Thanks, AMPM. I just programed the opener like you said with one exception. In step 5 you only have to hold the car button once until the Garage door opener itself flashes indicating that it has received the signal from the car.
Thanks again.
