Butterfly on Supercharger?

Default Butterfly on Supercharger?
Hello, seeing if anyone knows how to open up the butterfly on the super charger for a 2000 slk-230? I have no warranty left so I get to have some fun now with the car. Is this a good idea?

Actually you want to close the butterfly. Prob not a good idea as it only bleeds off unwanted boost depending on throttle pos, engine load, rpms etc etc
