we took our SLK 230K off the road over the winter. All was fine prior to prak up. When we put her on road again a few months later, the indicators remained on constant, didnt flash. then they stopped all to gether. then i noticed the electric windows, electric roof,central locking, rear heated window all stopped working. the car drives fine and lights, heater etc.. all work fine...any helpful hints will be most appreciated...(have checked fuses.)

 

Interesting.

Disconnect the battery negative lead for 30 mins or so and then reconnect. All I can think of is that voltage dropped below critical during start after storage and scrambled computer memories. A bit of a long shot however. Also check positive for good connection. (Remove refit)

The systems you refer to are serviced by different modules so I can't think why more than one module would go bad at the same time.

Did you have to jump the battery to get it started?
