Need to replace radio in my '98 SLK 230. OEM Part # 003-820-60-86. Have seen other radios that look alike but slightly different part numbers. For example, # 003-820-59-86. Is it important to match the part number exactly? Also, any tips on removing and installation is greatly appreciated.

 

your radio is MB exquisit. some functions might not be available if you install different model.

better replace it with the same one

 

Some have different frequency stepping. Check that also.
