I recently purchased a 2013 SLK250 r172 with very low mileage. The glovebox leather foam piece is separating from the plastic piece that engages the two locks. Before I mess up with a two-part adhesive that over high and low temp changes, does not hold, has anyone had this problem? I'm told it was identified on SLK World in 2012 to 2017 and MB did not solve the issue. I need a good adhesive that will solve this issue. Any thoughts? Note - I live in Rochester, NY so very cold winters and hot, humid summers.
