I have a 2003 SLK32 AMG and every time I turn left or right there is a clicking noise in the steering. Can anyone tell me what the might be? Thanks.

 

I took my car to our Mercedes Dealership and had it checked. They say that the steering box and control arm bushing need to be replaced. Cost $3000. It is hard for me to believe that. My car only has 25,000 miles on it although it is a 2003 year model. Anyone had to have theirs replaced with mileage that low?
