I just purchased a 2002 SLK320. I went in the trunk and popped out the cd changer and put in a cd, yet when I went back to the dash and clicked cd the console said "No CD Changer"


Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this, and also a solution to fix it? Unfortunately the car didn't come with a warranty, so I am unable to take it back to the dealer without paying. I'm just seeing if it is something simple I can do myself.

I had the same problem, took it to the dealer and they said that the connection was loose to the CD player. I dont know if it was the connection at the player itself or at the radio.
