Hey everyone I picked up a fun lil SLK an 2 week later started having key problems. I have been reading everyone's comments which have been great and got me to what I guess I will call phase 2 as I have been able to change the tumblers successfully, that I purchased from rock auto, which got rid of all my key slop but now still can't turn key sometime an now when I can get car to turn over all the way it shows " start error " on my dash. Also almost sounds like my steering lock mechanism is hanging up. Starting to get a little frustrated lol anyone have any solutions??? Thanks for your time and assistance.
