I am considering buying a 1997 SL500. It does not have the Xenon Headlight option. Can I upgrade my headlight units to xenon lights by a simple replacement of the entire headlight unit. Does the wiring for one unplug and plug into the new unit. What happens to the headlight wipers? Where can I purchase the replacement units? How much can I expect to pay? I really just like the way they look but am I making a mistake? Any and all input would greatly be appreciately. Thanks.
