I have an '87 560SL and the windshield wipers stopped working. The dealer said it is the linkage and the entire dashboard needs to come out to replace it - cost - over $3k for parts and labor. I'm thinking of doing it myself and am curious as where to get the best instructions for repairing the linkage and removing the dash. I bought a CD online but it is pretty worthless. Any help would be appreciated.
