Just joined the forum today but I had found useful info on the forum prior to joining. I want to thank the members for that previous help. I like doing my own work and hope to contribute something to the forum in return for what I have gained already. I was an aircraft mechanic in the military....many years ago (Air Force).

QUESTION: The vaccum pump on my 92 500SL seems to stay on to long. Runs for approx60 seconds after the remote has been engaged and the locks are opened.Can this be corrected?Has anyone had this experience before? I know where the vaccum pump is, I just don't know what the problem might be.
