Using a battery manager

Default Using a battery manager

If i use a battery manager such as a BATTERY TENDER can I use the cigarette lighter for hook up in an 04 SL600? Thanks for any help .

i could be wrong, but i believe the lighter sockets are dead unless the ignition is on..
at least that is the case with my 2003 sl500..
since i dont drive the sl much in the winter months i use 2 battery floaters, one for start and one for appliance battery.

Since I reside in the northeast my 2000 SL500 is garaged in storage for the winter months and I use a "Battery Tender" directly to the battery. Only 1 battery in the 2000's.
