when the trunk feature quit working I first assumed the latch. after inspecting for cracks, I found none. Replaced anyway. as it turned out it was the pump that was bad even though the door locks still worked. the cost varied on the new parts, the latch was $280, the pump I found for $800, had seen the pump as high as $1,200, so always shop. the air pump is under the top hydraulic pump in the trunk left of spare. do not buy the cheap trunk struts if needed, buy only oem spec, otherwise you'll be wasting your time and money.
