SL500 Good in Snow?
Guys, many of you may have experienced this scenario... "the wife wants one".
We've discovered a 2003 SL500 sport with 10K miles on it. A doctor acquaintence owns it and has it parked in one of his homes. Opportunities like this don't grow on trees and my wife is looking for a primary car.
Is the 2003 SL500 series generally good in snow conditions? I live in Indianapolis and we get some snow here but nothing very heavy.
Also is the 2003 SL series have a good track record? Prone to any glitches, defects/recalls etc?
Your thoughts and Thanks!

Hi Disco. I have a 1994 SL500 which I have had for over 13 years. I live in Columbus, Ohio which has similar weather (snow fall) as Indy. Up until last year I used my car as a daily driver even in snow here in Col. It does drive fine in snow but you have to be a little more careful than a regular sedan. Put snow tires all the way around the car. I Use Bliztec snows which are great...
