While driving engine shuts off.....electrical is off,no dash lights....then lights come back on and I can restart car. Help. Mercedes can't duplicate problem. They said there was a loose connection to fuel pump, they tightened and this didn't happen for about a month. Could there be a short somewhere since the car just stops running and within a minute will let me restart. Because none of the warning lights on dash light up makes me think it's electrical.

 

might take a close look at the #12 fuse for cracks. might try replacing the fused red topped overload protection relay in your module compartment by the passenger side hood hinge.
