Needing to replace my Mirror switch. Does it pop out from above the console or must the console trim need to be removed?

 

the year? you have to remove or lift trim enough to access switch. remove radio, key type tool maybe needed if there are small horizontal slots at each lower corner, pop out climate control through radio opening. if your year has the lift up storage compartment door under the radio. remove the small screw at the front, bend in the sides of the compartment and remove the compartment lining. remove the two screws under the compartment. push firmly down on the back of the buryl trim and push left and lift slightly the left side, then push right and lift. it's really that easy if it's the same as my 129. some of the connectors can be tricky and have a clever lock. don't force anything. I didn't disconnect the window switches or the hazard etc switches at that time. don't need to completely remove trim.
