You have to a get a ignition flash light (bougt at an ordinary car chop for about 50usd). and then read the manual book for your car. I bought mine at "www.Haynes.com" from the UK.

I'd check for vacuum leaks next. How many miles are on the car? Does it backfire and or miss all the time? how's the power and does it still miss on acceleration? It is common for the hoses to get brittle in time and crack, also the seals around the injectors can do the same. Get some in the can aerosol starting fluid or carburetor cleaner or brake wash and spray around the hoses and injectors while running and listen for a change in the running of the engine. there is no point to do anything else until you check for leaks first. don't smoke while spraying fluids. try to keep spray limited to just vacuum hoses, the rubber boot connecting the intake to the air flow meter and the injectors.
