I'm looking at a 98 600SL with 62,000 miles. never had one and know nothing about the problems it has if any. I mean what is know to go wrong. Any kind of advice Id appreciate. Thanks.............

 

Great car, lots of power, except for the engine and suspension, everything is the same as a SL 500. I own a 1994 SL600 and my brother owns a 1994 SL500. We have had the same expenses except for the engine. SL600 has two of everything it seems. Fuel Injection throttles deteriorate over time. +$6000 part and there are 2. If thoes items have been replaced you should be okay. Just expense some maintenance cost.

 

Agree, that is the problem . my friend have been driving this car for 3 years and is ok until now.
