Hello...I'm trying to change out my high beam bulbs and just can't seem to get the old ones out. I'm following the instructions in the manual (pretty easy and just like my CLK, which I was able to do myself), but these won't budge. I called my service rep and he said they were extremely hard, but to keep trying. So I did and now I have broken off the connector tabs on one of the bulbs (which shouldn't be a problem if I can just get it out). Has anyone done an R230 before that can offer any tips ? FYI - With some help from Ian on another forum, I got this done. For anyone else who may get confused about this, the manual refers to a 'locking ring' (a black ring around the base of the entry point), turn that counter clockwise, not the bulb. It simply releases the bulb and you can pull it right out. I was confused having just done my CLK in which case it was actually the bulb that you would turn to remove.
