Default Headlights dim, now DS high beam out

I have a 1986 300e, just bought a few months ago, and too late discovered it had been in an accident, probably getting hit on front driver's side. I have had most of the problems associated with that fixed, but recently I have found my headlights getting dimmer and dimmer. I just changed the bulbs, which didn't help; but now I find when I switch to high beams, the driver's side almost goes out. Any suggestions?

After an accident, the most common causes of your symptom is faulty grounds. These are usually overlooked and cause annoying problems. Take a quick glance in the accident area and look for loose or unconnected grounds.

Hope this helps.

Thanks 1MG--played around with the wires and got it working. Still don't know exactly where the problem was, but as long as it works---
