Hi...I'm planning on purchasing a set of AMG wheels that came from a 2003 SL500to be installed on my 1994 SL500. They are 18x8.5 ET30 frts & 18x9.5 ET33 rears. Does anyone know if there are any fitment issues with these wheels? Any pics too? Thanks.

 

I tried a set of these on my 1997 SL500 fortunately I was able to try them on my car before I purchased them. The rear fitted OK though they were a real close fit at the back. The fronts however were OK until I moved the vehicle and on braking they rubbed on the front wheelarches as they were just protruding too far out. I was told I could fit narrower front tyres and have the front wings rolled back but decided against it. In the end I fitted the new E class wheels with some German spacers and they are fine with no clearance issues. I went for 17 inch to keep the tyre prices reasonable.
