Have some questions on a 1995 SL500.

Keys: Is there somewhere to get a flip key that is cheaper than the dealer $165.00?

Parts. Does anyone know where I can get the ash tray insert, the plug that the wire for the rear window defogger plugs into, and rear speaker covers?

Problem to fix. the A/C/ Heater fan sounds like there is debris in the fan. BUT when I turn the steering wheel to the left it stops and turn to the right it starts louder. Does not matter ifthe car is moving or not.

Any thoughts?

 

I paid $125 about 4 years ago. try Sam at 503 454 5002. get a price and then askif that's the besthe can do. tell himthe guy from brookings said that if you were to nagged him enough thathe would give you a good price on dealer only parts. pretty please. see if he can get you the rest of the goodies you need.finding someone you can count on to do service on her is the key.Competence & honestyis more important than price.ask around, ask other owners you see when you areout cruisin'.And don't you just looooove to gocruisin' with that darlin'. Check with the dealer and make sure the price includes programing the key. I bought one for my 600sl and then they wanted another $65 to program the key to the car.
