Default question about winter storage

When you store your car for the winter do you leave the soft top up and do you latch it or just leave it up loose but not attached to windshield. I read somewhere that it not a good idea to latch it because the top could stick to the windshield header. Thanks Jimbo

leave up and stretched to keep out wrinkles if you don't have a hardtop. I put on my hardtop so I can have a coupe in the winter, like having two cars in one.. if needed a hair dryer can get most of the wrinkles out come summer.

+1 for leaving it up. I would also hook it up to a battery tender (link below) to make sure that the battery stays fully charged. Please let us know if you have any questions.

I put the hard top on my SL500 and I keep the car in my garage. I run it once a month to keep the battery charged. question about winter storage-photo373.jpg
