I just looked at a 1997 sl sport and there was something in the dash compartment that I don't know what it is. My other sl I used this compartment for sunglasses and storage but this car had something that looked like a radio in side it.Does anyone know what this is. also there are some buttons on the side of the seats and not sure what these do.thanks Jimbo

 

Hi Jimbo - would you be able to post a photo of the sections that you're taking about or add a link to a photo where this is shown? Guessing that the buttons on the side of the seats are for 'memory settings' or some sort of cooling/heating option.

I found out the dials on the side of seat are for lumbar support which is not working
the center compartment is I think for the phone, I am going to remove it if I buy the car tonight
