Default New member needs SL500 advice!!!

Hello everyone...

I posted this under new members and then I saw this section for SL posts so I am posting it here as well.

I own a 2002 MB C240, but I am debating on purchasing a 2004 MB SL500. However, there is a catch...the SL500 I am looking at was in a wreck (totaled), but now it has been all repaired to new condition. Any advise would greatly be appreciated! I would be buying it "As-Is" with no warranty, would you do it? One other thing to mention, it has a "Salvage Title" but like I said it's been fully repaired, but you never know. WHat would you do? What should I look for when inspecting this car? I plan on taking it to the MB Dealer for an inspection prior to purchasing it. Does anyone know if I can buy an extended warranty to help ease my mind? Please help!!!

Thanks...Dre83

Try to get the insurance repair estimate, and find out about the type of damage, it may help you.

I really don't understand why you would post this question again.

Are you really still THAT unsure after reading everyone's responses ?

Go back and RE-READ the replys in this thread and it should be very easy for you to make up your mind.

It really comes down to YOUR OWN circumstances.

No one is going to make up your mind for you, you need to take a deep breath and either do it or forget about it.

Maybe with the question your asking you should have posted the price they are asking for it and then maybe the responses will be different. Just a thought.

Good luck with your decision.
